Bright, Victoria - North Eastern Highlands

In Spring, he says, "the mountains and valleys are bursting with new life, even though the high peaks are still snow-capped." It sounds like fun, and so I'm heading up there for a look about. Paul's list of things to do and see might provide a handy guide for me. I'll fill it up with my own discoveries within a week or two.

According to the article, Bright has 13 cafes and 15 restaurants, and it must be about a three to four hour drive from Melbourne on the Hume Freeway and Great Alpine Road, just over 300km depending on your inclination to stop for photographs or refreshments.
